Ok, so it’s not like I am actually living the life of a gal with a wacky wild weekday, but I just wanted to suck you in! And if you are reading this, it works!!!
Yesterday was a fantastic day! The sun shone all day, it was St. Patrick’s Day and work was decent. What more could a girl ask for? So after sitting in the roasting warm library all afternoon, I was SO ready to be outside. I ran home after work and grabbed Corey and the dog and we went on a super long walk. Ok, well it was super long for Jade dog and only about 35 minutes so that didn’t make it SUPER long for us, but still, it was nice. We walked over to the park by city hall that has a bandstand. Jade doggy sniffed and marked and pottied the whole way there and the whole way home! She was such a trooper. She started out doing circle after circle around Corey and I and by the time we headed back to condo land, she was one tuckered pug! You could hear her breathing from a block away.
When we got home there was a short rest and then dinner. Corey made some very yummy mashed potatoes that I thought were delish. He is pretty hard on his cooking so he didn’t think they were all that and a side of fries, but I liked them. Kind of reminded me of Grammy McDonald’s mashed potatoes so it made them even better! Anyhoo…I made fish with crackers on top and a salad. Jadey-poops got to sample the salad leftovers, like the ends of the cukes and the seeds. She is so cute! She slurped the cucumber seeds down like it was spaghetti! Darn dog likes more vegetables than I do!!!
After our delightful dinner it was a quiet evening filled with TV and some laundry folding, though not too much laundry folding! Corey has been doing an awesome job of keeping the house clean. It has been looking fantastic! He is great with a vacuum and the Windex bottle, not to mention he does all the grocery shopping. Good thing he does too, since I ABHOR grocery shopping! Yuck!!! We’d eat a lot of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches if I was the shopping guru in our house!!!
Today Corey is going to a High School basketball game in Concord. I think it’s a class M championship, but no matter how many times he tells me, I can’t seem to keep it in my head. So it will be just the hugga pugga and myself! What will we do? Hmmmmm the possibilities are endless…
